be2move is a training device for the home that looks like a rocking chair and offers 20 guided exercises for the back, shoulders, hips and legs on one square metre. It stands in the living room rather than the basement and is ready to use without assembly: sit down and rock, stand up and exercise. be2move is not a strength or cardio machine and not a medical device, but training furniture for daily mobility.

Why does be2move stand in the living room and not in the basement?

Most home trainers fail not because of the technology but because of the way to get there. The machine stands in the basement or under the bed, has to be set up, and first you have to change. At some point it just sits there. be2move clears exactly these hurdles: it looks like a piece of wooden furniture with a coloured seat, stands where you are anyway, and is ready the moment you sit down.

As a rocking chair you use it while reading, watching TV or winding down after work. The gentle rocking motion eases tension and trains body awareness. If you feel like more, you stand up, switch over in seconds and do two or three standing exercises. In jeans, without a mat, without a programme.

What can you train with be2move at home?

The device guides you through 20 exercises in three positions: rocking for regeneration, six standing exercises in everyday clothes, ten more intensive lying exercises. Each exercise targets one region, from the hip flexors and hamstrings to the neck and back. The device sets the path, you follow it. This is called active muscle length training: the muscle is moved along a guided path and strengthened at the same time, instead of just being stretched passively. You do not need a fixed programme. Many people start with the two standing exercises they feel most in everyday life and add the lying exercises later.

Which exercise belongs where is shown on the exercise chart, which you can get as a PDF under Downloads. Every single exercise with a photo is on the page The device, and if you prefer to watch, use the exercise videos on YouTube.

Training furniture

Why does be2move not look like a fitness machine?

Because otherwise it ends up in the basement. A training device you want to hide will not be used. That is why be2move is built as furniture: wood, a seat in lime or other colours, a shape that holds its own next to the sofa and bookshelf. No assembly, no carrying, no folding away. It stands there, and you use it whenever you feel like it.

  • Always within reach: one square metre in the living room, ready to use straight away.
  • Short sessions: two exercises during the coffee break count too.
  • For the family: designed for body heights of 160 to 200 cm and up to 120 kg.
  • Guided and joint-friendly: low risk of injury, also for beginners.

Who is be2move not suitable for at home?

If you want to build muscle mass or train endurance, be2move is the wrong device. It trains mobility and muscle length, not strength in the classic sense and not stamina.

You need a free square metre plus some room to move around it, especially for the lying exercises. As a guide: one square metre is roughly the footprint of an armchair. Measure before you enquire. The device is designed for body heights of 160 to 200 cm and up to 120 kg. And it is not a medical device: if you are in rehabilitation, you use be2move under the guidance of therapists. Many physiotherapy practices work with the device and show you the exercises before you do them on your own.

Where does be2move come from?

Developed by a physiotherapist with over 30 years of experience together with experts in myoreflex therapy. Background on the approach is in our guide (German), the team is on the About us page.

How much space does be2move need in the home?

One square metre of floor space, plus some room to move around it, especially for the lying exercises. The device stays in place; it is not set up, folded away or put in storage.
