Training device for rehab centres: 20 guided exercises under the guidance of therapists

be2move gives every exercise a set path. Your therapists instruct, patients train standing in everyday clothes or lying for more intensity, several devices side by side on one square metre each.

be2move is a training device for preventing, maintaining and improving mobility. In rehabilitation it is used under the guidance of therapists: 20 guided exercises in three positions, one square metre per device. The movement path is set, the patient works actively on muscle length, the therapist keeps an eye on the group. be2move is not a medical device and replaces neither diagnosis nor treatment.

Starting point

Why does be2move fit into a rehab centre?

Many patients at different stages meet few therapists and limited floor space. An equipment room with one station per muscle group needs space, an instruction session per machine and someone to correct. That is exactly where be2move comes in.

1

Set path

Each of the 20 exercises guides the movement. Poor posture is hardly possible, and execution stays clean even on the tenth repetition. That relieves the therapist of correction work.

2

One square metre per device

be2move replaces up to 20 individual stations. Three or four devices fit into a room that would otherwise hold a single equipment circuit.

3

Everyday clothes when standing

Six standing exercises work in everyday clothes. No changing, no changing room, no time lost between treatment and training.

The principle

What does the device do to the muscle?

Instead of stretching statically, be2move moves the muscle along a guided path and strengthens it at the same time. That is muscle length training: active, repeatable, with a set path for the back, shoulders, hips, neck and thighs.

Six exercises standing, ten lying, plus the rocking position for warm-up, cool-down and active regeneration. Switching between positions takes seconds and needs no tools. All 20 exercises with body region and position are shown on the device page, the background is explained in our guide (German).

Group training

How does group training with several devices work?

Several be2move devices stand side by side, one therapist instructs the group. Everyone does the same exercise or each works on their own region. This is roughly what a session looks like; the exact design is up to your team.

Instruction

The therapist demonstrates the exercise once on the device: position, grip, direction of movement. Because the path is set, that is usually enough for the whole group.

Training under supervision

The group repeats, the therapist walks along the row and corrects only where necessary. A session can range from a warm-up in the rocking position through the standing exercises to the more intensive lying exercises.

Orientation by the poster

The exercise poster with all 20 exercises hangs next to it, each exercise labelled with body region and position. Patients find their exercise again by themselves, even at the next appointment. The poster is under Downloads.

After therapy

How does the transition from therapy to independent training succeed?

What the patient has learned under guidance, they then repeat on their own: in the training area of your centre, in outpatient aftercare or at home. The exercises are the same, the device is the same, only the supervision decreases. The break between therapy and everyday life, where exercise programmes otherwise fail, becomes smaller.

For that there is the exercise poster as a PDF and the exercise videos on YouTube. Anyone who wants to bring be2move into their own living room after rehab will find the information on the page for home use. For the outpatient practice with group therapy and a worked example there is the page for physiotherapy practices.

To be honest

Who is be2move not suitable for?

be2move is not a medical device and has no billing code. It guides exercises, it does not diagnose and does not treat. In these cases the device is the wrong choice:

  • Facilities that need a medical device billed via prescription. be2move is a training device according to EN ISO 20957-1.
  • Patients outside 160 to 200 cm body height or over 120 kg. These are the limits of the standard.
  • Patients for whom the therapist decides that guided mobility training is not yet appropriate. That decision is always made by the therapist, never by the device.
  • Centres that want to put the device in the training area without instruction and without supervision. In rehabilitation the rule is: under the guidance of therapists.

Origin

Who is behind be2move?

be2move grew out of daily work with patients in a physiotherapy practice in Bad Waldsee, Germany, not on the drawing board. The developer treats patients himself and uses the device in his own practice.

  • Developed by a physiotherapist with over 30 years of experience together with experts in myoreflex therapy.
  • iENA silver medal 2025, International Trade Fair for Ideas, Inventions and New Products, Nuremberg.
  • Patent pending (DE 10 2021 122 682 A1). Training device according to EN ISO 20957-1.

Frequently asked questions

May be2move be used in rehabilitation?

Yes, under the guidance of therapists. be2move is a training device according to EN ISO 20957-1 for preventing, maintaining and improving mobility, not a medical device. It guides exercises along a set path, it does not diagnose and does not treat. Whether and when a patient trains on it is always decided by the therapist; the device does not take that decision away.

How much space does a group room with several devices need?

One square metre per device plus room to move around it. One be2move replaces up to 20 individual stations, and three or four devices fit into a room that would otherwise hold a single equipment circuit. Switching between the three positions takes seconds and needs no tools; the devices stay in place.

Do patients have to change for training?

No, not for the six standing exercises. The standing exercises work in everyday clothes, without a changing room and without losing time between treatment and training. The ten lying exercises are more intensive; here your team decides which clothing makes sense. The rocking position serves as warm-up, cool-down and active regeneration.

How does training continue after therapy?

What the patient has learned under guidance, they later repeat on their own: in the training area of the centre, in outpatient aftercare or at home. The exercises and the device remain the same, only the supervision decreases. For orientation there is the exercise poster with all 20 exercises as a PDF and the exercise videos on YouTube.

Which body heights and weights is be2move designed for?

be2move is designed for body heights of 160 to 200 cm and a body weight of up to 120 kg. These are the limits of the training equipment standard EN ISO 20957-1. Patients outside these values should not train on the device. Whether a patient within these limits is suitable for training is decided by the therapist on site.
