be2move is a training device for preventing, maintaining and improving mobility: 20 guided exercises in three positions on one square metre, for your treatment and for training in groups. The movement path is set, your patient works actively on muscle length, you keep the overview. be2move is not a medical device and does not replace therapy; in rehabilitation it is used under the guidance of therapists.
Everyday practice
Almost every practice is short of three things: space, time and patients who stick with it. A training area with one station per muscle group needs a room you do not have. Instructing every exercise individually ties up your scarcest resource, treatment time. And the home exercise programme is usually abandoned after the third appointment.
be2move replaces up to 20 individual stations. It fits in the treatment cubicle, the corridor or the waiting area and switches between rocking, standing and lying in seconds.
The path is set, so poor posture is hardly possible. You explain the exercise once, after that your patient repeats it safely, even when you are not standing right next to them.
Six standing exercises work in everyday clothes, directly before or after treatment. The hurdle of getting started in the first place disappears.
The principle
Instead of stretching statically, be2move moves the muscle along a guided path and strengthens it at the same time. That is muscle length training: active, repeatable, with a set path for the back, shoulders, hips, neck and thighs.
Six exercises standing, ten lying, plus the rocking position for warm-up, cool-down and active regeneration. The exercise chart on the device page shows which exercise belongs to which body region. The background to muscle length training is explained in our guide (German).
Three roles
A practice traditionally buys a device and uses it. With be2move there are three stages that build on each other.
You use be2move in your own treatment: guided exercises for the back, shoulders and hips, standing in everyday clothes, lying for more intensity. The device in your practice is also your demonstration device.
If the device convinces you, your recommendation to colleagues becomes the most credible sales channel there is. How that works as a reseller is explained on the page for distribution partners.
Later you build be2move into a prevention course under Section 20 of the German Social Code Book V (SGB V). Important for clean advertising: statutory health insurers subsidise only the accredited course, never the device.
The lever
Several be2move devices in one room, one programme on the tablet, several patients training at the same time under your supervision. The one-to-one session becomes a room hour with three or four patients, without additional staff time.
The second effect is adherence. Training in a group is easier, participants arrange to meet and come back instead of dropping out after the third appointment.

One device costs 9,500 euros, list price incl. VAT, delivery and instruction included. If you would rather not buy, lease it: around 180 euros per month, depending on term and leasing partner.

To be honest
be2move is not a medical device and has no billing code. It guides exercises, it does not diagnose and does not treat. If you expect something else, the device is the wrong choice:

Origin
be2move grew out of daily work with patients, not on the drawing board. The developer treats patients himself and uses the device in his own practice in Bad Waldsee, Germany.
